2008 Bruce Mamer/PanCAN Golf Outing
GOLF BALL DROP CONTEST RULES
1. For an entry fee of $5 (per ball) each participant will be entered into Bruce Mamer/PanCAN Golf Ball Drop contest to take place on August 30th, 2008 at Springvale Golf Course. Participants may enter more than once. Winner does not need to be present. Winner will be notified via telephone or E-mail.
Participants will be assigned a numbered golf ball(s) based on their ticket number.
2. On Saturday August 30th 2008 at approximately 7:15 p.m. during the golf outing dinner, the golf balls will be placed randomly in a container and will be dropped from an boom truck/scissor lift onto a roped off grassy area containing a golf hole and pin. The participant whose numbered golf ball lands in, or closest to the hole will win:
• Prize = $500.00 cash
3. If no ball lands on a designated target, then the ball landing closest to the target will
be the winner. The ball closest to the target will be determined by measuring in a straight
line from the center of the target to the ball. If two or more balls land equal distances from the
center of the target, those balls will be placed into a bag and one ball will be randomly
drawn from the bag by a contest official to determine a winner.
4. Participants need not be present to win. Winners will be announced immediately upon
completion of contest and will be notified by contact information supplied on the contest
ticket. Contest results will also be posted on Bruce Mamer/PanCAN website at
http://brucemamergolfouting.org. If a winner cannot be located or fails to claim his or her
prize within ninety (30) days after notification, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to
an alternate winner.
5. Tickets are not transferable and are non-refundable.
6. If for some unforeseen event (i.e. adverse weather) occurs that prevents the Golf Ball Drop event from taking place as outlined above, and the event cannot be rescheduled, winners will be determined by random drawing. One number will be drawn.
